Alaska 5000

Alaska Thunderfuck, also styled ALASKA 5000 and Alaska Thunderfuck 5000, is the stage name of Justin Andrew Honard, born March 6, 1985, in Erie, Pennsylvania. A veteran of the drag world, she began performing professionally in 2006 and studied at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of the Arts before rising to national attention as a runner-up on Season 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2013. She returned to claim the crown on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 2 in 2016, one of the most-discussed seasons in the franchise's history. Alaska has since built one of the most durable post-Drag Race careers of any queen: five studio albums including 'Anus,' 'Poundcake,' 'Vagina,' 'Red 4 Filth,' and 'Amethyst Journey,' and a co-writing and starring credit on the Off-Broadway hit 'Drag: The Musical,' which won an Outer Critics Circle award. Now based in Los Angeles, Alaska plays a self-described 'extraterrestrial phenomenon from the planet Glamtr0n' on stage and online.
