Amalara Sofía is a Latina drag queen whose name is itself a love letter to the culture that raised her — Ama (love) + Lara, in tribute to Puerto Rican legend Lara Stevenson. She's the drag daughter of Yara Sofia, the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 fan favorite and All Stars alum, and that lineage shows in the pageantry and stagecraft. Amalara was one of the queens on the inaugural season of Drag Latina, and she's also gone beyond the pageant stage into screen work, appearing in AJ and the Queen, the film Chick Fight, and Bad Bunny's music video / short film El Apagón.
