Cookie Kunty is a Montreal-born, Paris-based Canadian-French drag performer widely credited as a driving force behind the renaissance of the modern French drag scene. She founded La Jeudi Barré, one of Paris's first and most influential weekly drag nights, and built a devoted local following before her international breakthrough on Drag Race France Season 2 (premiered June 30, 2023), where she placed 6th. As the first Drag Race France contestant of Canadian origin, Cookie brings a distinctly cross-cultural sensibility to her drag, blending Montreal club-kid energy with the campy, high-concept sensibilities of the Parisian scene.
