Jada Shada Hudson

Jada Shada Hudson is a Barbadian-Canadian drag performer, singer, and dancer affectionately known as "Toronto's Turn Up Queen." Raised in Bridgetown, Barbados, she began performing in professional theatre from a young age and trained with Barbados' leading national dance troupe before relocating to Canada in 2009. Over more than a decade in Toronto she has become a defining presence of the Canadian drag scene, playing every major Pride and queer celebration in the country and building a reputation for high-energy, technically tight performance rooted in Caribbean rhythm. She broke through to international audiences on Canada's Drag Race Season 3, where she placed as runner-up (Gisèle Lullaby won). Off the runway she has fronted campaigns for Spotify, Fireball, Bud Light, BMO, and PepsiCo.
