Joey Jay is the story of a Season 13 what-could-have-been rewritten into an All Stars 11 what-actually-happened., in Madison, Wisconsin and drag-raised in Milwaukee before relocating to Phoenix in 2017, she was eliminated on episode five of Season 13 in a lip-sync to 'Fancy' against LaLa Ri, placing 12th. She spent the intervening years building a devoted following on her charm, her out-of-drag boy-next-door aesthetic, and her signature choice to forgo wigs, styling her own hair in candy colors instead, before returning on All Stars 11 and finishing as runner-up in 2026. She was crowned Miss Gay Phoenix America 2025, lobbied for LGBTQ+ rights at the U.S. Capitol in 2024, and dropped the single 'You Better Dance You Homosexual' in 2026. Openly gay and Jewish, she's a signature Merchstores talent.
