Lana Ja'Rae

Lana Ja'Rae is the Gen-Z it-girl of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17, a Dallas-raised, New York-based queen who brought soft-glam beauty, a runway-ready body, and a pageant polish rare for someone her age. She placed sixth in the season and became one of its breakout stars, walking away with a fanbase that fell hard for her serene ingenue energy and generational-gap confessionals. Born May 7, 2002, Lana came up through New York's ballroom-and-club drag ecosystem, with Season 15 alumna Luxx Noir London as her drag mother and a prior connection to Season 16's Plasma as a drag-family sister. Off-camera she identifies as genderfluid, using she/her and they/them in drag and they/them everyday. Since her season aired, she has toured the Werq the World circuit, walked runways at RuPaul's DragCon, and continued building a career at the intersection of high-fashion drag and social-first content.
