Madame Yoko

Madame Yoko is a Vietnamese-born Belgian-Luxembourgish drag performer, singer, and cabaret owner who has become a drag icon of Luxembourg. Born in Cần Thơ, Vietnam and adopted by Belgian parents, Ian studied interior design at Institut Saint-Luc in Liège and Brussels before starting drag on April 16, 2016 - originally as 'Lady Sushi,' before being renamed Yoko by her Swiss drag mother Catherine d'Oex. From 2019 to 2024 she and her husband Alex Goedert ran Brasserie Barnum, a drag cabaret in Luxembourg. She competed on Drag Race Belgique Season 2 (2024), where she placed eighth, and returned to the franchise on Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale (2025) - making history as both the first Asian and first Luxembourgish contestant on the Drag Race franchise.
