Featured on DragQueenMerch as an 'NYC Breakthrough Artist' and 'Ultimate Diva,' Mariyea is a Black trans performer whose collaborative, radically inclusive practice has taken her from nightlife to some of the most respected stages in the city — with credits at Soho Rep, The Shed, The New Ohio Theatre, Dixon Place, The Delacorte, and Joe's Pub. She co-hosts the podcast Cliffhangers with Julie J, which won Best Podcast at the NYC Nightlife Glam Awards. Off-stage she has taught as an adjunct professor at The City College of New York and led classes at NYU Tisch.
