Plasma

Plasma is born November 6, 1998, in Austin, Texas and raised in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She came to national attention as a contestant on Season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2024, where her theater-kid energy, sharp comic timing, and impressive live vocals made her one of the most talked-about queens of the cast. Plasma's drag draws heavily from Old Hollywood glamour and mid-century American pop culture, filtered through a knowing musical-theater sensibility. During the competition she won two solo maxi challenges before being eliminated in episode nine — the lowest placement in the show's history by any queen with at least two solo challenge wins. Since Drag Race she has continued to work extensively as a live performer and released her debut album, 'Is Miss Thing On?,' which compiles live recordings of Broadway classics and original tracks and which she has described as the first live album produced by a Drag Race queen.
