Pomara Fifth

Pomara Fifth is a Sydney-based Australian drag performer of Aboriginal and Maori heritage who competed on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under. The name Pomara Fifth is deeply personal — it comes from her childhood home address, No. 5 Pomara Close, a place she has described as one of the first spaces where she felt free to be her true self. She began performing in 2014, quickly picked up wins on the Sydney drag talent-competition circuit, and built a reputation as a versatile, multi-talented host and entertainer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, before the international spotlight of Drag Race, she worked as a frontline hospital worker.
