Sasha Colby

Sasha Colby, in 1984, is a Native Hawaiian drag legend who spent years as one of the most decorated pageant queens in the country before Drag Race ever called. She took Miss Continental in 2012 and had already built a devoted following on the pageant and nightlife circuits by the time she strutted into the workroom of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15. That season she barrelled through challenge after challenge and beat Anetra in the finale lip sync to 'Knock On Wood,' becoming the first winner openly trans throughout her entire run and the first winner of Polynesian descent — walking off with the franchise-record $200,000 prize. Since her win she has toured relentlessly, hosted the all-trans West Hollywood revue Heavenly Bodies, and used every acceptance speech to remind the room that she is 'everything you were afraid your daughters would grow up to be.'
