Suzie Toot arrived on Drag Race Season 17 like a hand-drawn animation come to life: a 1920s cartoon ingenue somewhere between Betty Boop and Lucille Ball, a genuine tap-dancer whose skill set nobody in the workroom saw coming. The Long Island-born, Fort Lauderdale-based queen finished in the top five and then took the whole thing home a different way, winning the season-ending Lip Sync LaLaPaRuZa Smackdown against Kori King to claim the title Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses and a $50,000 prize. Her season propelled her Instagram following into the stratosphere and turned her into one of the franchise's most-discussed breakout stars. A proud Jewish queen with old-school vaudeville bones and a modern comic's timing, she's currently developing a one-woman show titled If You Knew Suzie.
